Is what I share confidential?
Yes, with standard ethical and legal limits, such as risk of harm to yourself or others.
How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Each session is 50 minutes. Frequency is usually weekly, though we'll figure out what makes sense together.
Do you offer both in-person and virtual sessions?
Yes — both are available, depending on what works for you.
What age groups do you work with?
Adolescents, adults, women, men, and children. The work with children usually involves psychological assessment or family collaboration rather than individual talk therapy alone.
What is a psychological assessment, and how long does it take?
It begins with two case history sessions, where we screen and understand the concern or the reason for referral. Based on this, I recommend the appropriate tests. Within 7–10 days, I share and walk you through a full report, and we discuss what the next steps look like together.
What approach or modalities do you use in therapy?
My work is rooted in a psychodynamic and relational approach — the relationship itself is where a lot of the work happens. Depending on what you're bringing in, I also draw on EMDR for trauma, parts-based work (in the spirit of Internal Family Systems) to help understand the different parts of yourself, and animal-assisted elements when it feels supportive.
Do you work with clients outside Delhi NCR?
Yes — virtual sessions are available to clients anywhere, including abroad. I'm registered to practice in India, so Indian regulations and ethical guidelines govern how I work, regardless of where you're located.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice are billed in full.
Are your dogs present during sessions?
Sometimes, yes — if that's something you're comfortable with. If you'd rather sessions be dog-free, just let me know.
